69 Member Schools of the Florida Consortium of Public Charter Schools (FCPCS) Designated “Schools of Excellence” by the Florida State Board of Education 

Designated FCPCS member schools include 22 Elementary Schools, 7 Middle Schools, 10 High Schools and 30 Combination Schools 

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla., (April 17, 2024) – Sixty-nine member schools of the Florida Consortium of Public Charter Schools (FCPCS) have been designated “Schools of Excellence” for the 2022/2023 school year by the Florida State Board of Education. 

FCPCS member schools were recognized in four categories: elementary schools, middle schools, high schools and combination schools.  Designated FCPCS member schools include 22 elementary schools, 7 middle schools, 10 high schools and 30 combination schools. 

A school qualifies for School of Excellence recognition by the Florida Department of Education if it places in the eightieth percentile or higher in its school grade calculation for schools in the same grade grouping, based on results for two of the last three school years.
